Paranoia
You
knew it was a mistake to let her talk you into going to
this restaurant. The waiters were looking at you funny as
you walked to the table. What's the big deal? So you can't
afford the fanciest shoes. You make enough money to eat
their food.
Your
girlfriend orders the daily special without asking for the
price. Doesn't she know by now how these places work? The
specials are designed to rip you off. You ask the price,
and the waiter glares at you. Now he'll probably go back
and piss in your soup. You know you should just get up and
leave, but part of you wants to stay so you can yell at
him when he comes back.
